Situation : Poupehan, a small village situated at the banks of the Semois, at 10 kilometres from Bouillon, nearby the French border.

The scenery of this part of the Ardens is characterised by a series of gorges, caves and rock-formations covered with trees.

While taking a walk you will discover magnificent phenomena of nature (e.g. the “les Croisettes/Crosses for praying” and the “Chaire à prêcher/Pulpit”).

Naturally, the most important touristic attraction remains the Semois-river.
There you can go for a swim, catch a fish or participate in some caoeing.

Some of the most appealing sites in the vicinity: “Alle” (at 10kms) and its recreational facilities, Bouillon and its medieval castle (at 10kms), Bertrix and its shale-quarry (at about 14 kms), Sedan in France (at 22 kms), the Orval Abbey, Chiny at the Semois-river, Rochehaut, Frahan and Vresse at the Semois-river.
Ideally suited as starting-point for charming walks in the woods.
